Raynham Hall Museum

Raynham Hall Museum is located at 30 West Main Street in Oyster Bay, New York. The museum is run by a small team of people who are passionate about history, preservation, and storytelling.

The museum's collection includes approximately 6,000 objects and archival materials that document the Townsend family, Oyster Bay, and the greater Long Island area. The collection spans over 300 years and includes objects such as furniture, works of art, household accessories, textiles, toys, and games. The museum also has an archive that includes personal correspondence, account books, ledgers, and photographs.

Researchers can access the museum's collections by appointment only. The museum provides individualized assistance with projects, photocopying assistance, and fact-checking. The museum also has a digital collection that is continually updated, and researchers can access it online.
